Embassy of Canada (Former B.B.D.O. HQ)

This office building, originally designed and constructed according to the needs of B.B.D.O. advertising agency, is currently the Embassy of Canada in Greece. It has 4 over ground levels of 4.000,00 m² built area and 2 underground levels of storage and parking space of 1.800,00 m². The building has a coverage of 800,00 m² in a 2.500,00 m² plot. It is comprised of 2 even volumes that are divided by the main staircase and elevators shaft. In the ground level there is a reception and a security check point. The entire façade of the building is covered with California yellow limestone so that the building is protected from the high temperatures during summer and passively reduce its energy costs.
